Thoughts September 11/2001
Previously thrived on stability. Dissociation. Wars happen in other countries across the ocean. Senseless competition between Canada and the United States: right now Canada is closer to the states than ever before. North America vs the rest of the world. Now scared, very upset and cold. Betrayed. Who can be trusted? The answer is probably no one, as anyone could have planned the Event. Instability order of the day. Droves of people watching TV's in malls, Starbucks, hotels, or curled up in front of TVs holding loved ones, or sitting alone deep in thought. Radios humming dire news in restaurants, police patrolling and poking at random packages with metal robots. Nothing previous of the Event any longer seems important. School, thoughts, worries, possessions, ambitions. Exaggeration, inflation, paranoia, fear. Tomorrow destruction or peace.
